We email the status of our WealthProtect System* monthly and give probability (Low, Mid, High) of a change in status within the next two months. We also include a commentary on actions taken this month as well as changes in overall asset allocation.

Commentary
Markets overall have continued to deteriorate over the past month, with the exception of commodities which appear to be forming a bottom after 18 months of sharp losses. Global stocks are now officially in a bear market having dropped 20% from their peak according to Bloomberg.com through 2/11/16. In addition, odds of a recession have increased to perhaps 50% in the next six months in my opinion. More worrisome, perhaps, is that signs of energy-led and/or European bank-led financial crisis are beginning to build. While our Strategic Asset Management portfolios remain very defensive having exited most equities many months ago, please give your wealth manager a call if you would like to review your personal situation.
Thank you for your trust.
